Perumda Pasar Jaya to Renovate Several Markets This Year

Perumda Pasar Jaya is about to renovate 36 markets this year. The renovation includes exterior painting and minor repair of market's building.

Perumda Pasar Jaya Director, Agus Himawan Widiyanto, admitted that there were 26 markets renovation in last year.

"Exterior painting and improve the toilet. We renovated 26 markets last year. This year 36 markets renovation has been started gradually," he said, Thursday (2/8).

Pasar Jaya Commits to Maintain Sustainability and Economic Growth

Agus added that the renovation of a number of markets is an effort to create an ideal environment for various trading activities in order to support economic and social activities in order to realize Jakarta as a Global City.

"Jakarta will be still as service and trade city with market as one of the pillars. Market renovation is aimed to give comfort for traders and buyers," he closed.
